Queen Elizabeth NP

One must-visit destination is the Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is located just a short drive from Kasese town. You can take a guided safari tour through the park to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures. Have you heard about the tree-climbing lions?

The Mountains of The Moon

The Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the Mountains of the Moon, are a breathtaking sight to behold. These stunning peaks are the third-highest mountain range in Africa and are covered in snow all year round. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even attempt to climb them! The park has day trips as well as longer treks between 2 and 10 days, including ones that take you to the highest peak: Margherita at 5,109 meters.

Crater Lakes
